Pilates, But Better.

Pilates has become uber ubiquitous - it’s everywhere, and people make a whole lot of phony promises, shell out weird myths, sell wildly inappropriate “cures” to what ails you, and other face-tuned, AI, deep fake nonsense that makes Pilates seem like you have to be from another planet of plastic surgery just to attempt it. Which is bullshit.

If what I just said above offends you, I’m not the instructor for you. If you just said a, “Ugh….yes! Whhyyyy?” Well, you and I are probably on the same page.

I’m Nicole, but since we’re friends now, you can call me Nikki, and I’ve been teaching Pilates, dance and movement for over 20 years. I have three full, comprehensive Pilates certificates: including a Master Teacher Trainer Certificate. I have a University degree in Dance, and a whole bunch of other movement certificates and trainings. I’ve been through the ringer of everything from the worst kind of teaching and “branded” workouts, to the best kind of open, inquisitive, evolving and awesome teaching.

Have a look around this site. When you’re ready to work outside the box in Pilates and get accelerated, no-nonsense results and confidence - head over to the scheduling page. If you have additional questions, please contact me.

Real Life Words about What it’s Like to Work with Me:

Perhaps my favorite part about working with Nicole, is that she loves what she does. She truly believes in her work and her ability to help people. This energy radiates from her during every session and conversation you have with her. It’s honestly infectious. Working with Nicole makes me want to believe in my body’s ability to transform and heal, the way she believes in my ability to transform and heal. Pilates has brought value to my life, but Nicole brings value to Pilates. It’s the beautiful mesh of someone doing what she was meant to do in life: change lives, one Pilates session at a time.

I’ve worked with some great instructors over the years. You’re special. You see people. You have helped me see myself differently. I can’t even begin to tell you how it’s changed my life.
— C.M; Pilates Client
The passion and importance of Pilates is evident in every class you teach. Regardless of length of practice and level, what is glaringly obvious is that every client walks away more complete after a class. By complete I mean whole. You encourage us to listen to our bodies, do what’s best for us individually, and then apply it to ourselves not only in the studio, but in life. I have a very stressful job. I now breathe better. I will take 5 minutes, give myself time to go through a few exercises with the breathing you’ve taught. When things spin I’ll listen to my body, get my head and body connected/centered and am able to come back and tackle my challenges. I hope all who practice have the same experience that I have and are as honored to be instructed by someone who is as passionate and knowledgeable. It has truly had an unforeseen positive impact on me as a person overall that I am grateful for.
